Acorns Children’s Hospice – Our chosen Charity since 2021

We are delighted to be able to say that, since 2021, we have been supporting Acorns Children’s Hospice as our chosen charity.

Over the past few years our various fundraising initiatives have generated over £60,000 for local charities, and having taken the decision to work with Acorns back in 2021 as part of the successful Save The Black Country Hospice Appeal, we have decided to continue to work with them on an ongoing basis.

In 2021 all work undertaken by the firm automatically triggered a donation from us to Acorns. This was combined with a number of sponsored events, most notably a 100 mile bike ride by two members of our staff, and a 1,500 mile walking challenge by another staff member.

Since the start of 2022 we have also been running a match funding scheme. This means that any donations to Acorns which we can collect from our clients will be doubled by the company before they are forwarded on to them. We are extremely grateful for all of the support which has been given and continues to be given by our clients towards this scheme, and now is a great time to take advantage of our services and help such a worthy cause in the process.

In addition to this new pledge from the firm we are also continuing to arrange sponsored events, which have included the Birmingham and Benidorm Half Marathons amongst other things!

The total amount raised by the end of 2023 is now a fantastic £20,000! Once again we are really grateful for all of the sponsorship money which has already been pledged to us in Supporting Acorns Children’s Hospice, and look forward to our continued association with them.
